Moving to a new phone

Sign in on both phones and everything stays in step. Without an account, go to Settings, then Back Up, and save the file (Save to Files, AirDrop, or email it to yourself). On the new phone, go to Settings, then Restore, and pick that file.

A card isn’t right for us

On any card, tap the three dots, then Never Show This Card, or Fewer Like This to see less of that topic. Adjust the Deck sets how deep the questions go, faith questions, and quick cards for that person. Hidden cards can be brought back in Settings.

Purchases

Everything is one payment, not a subscription. What you buy on the website stays with your account, on every device you sign in to. If something doesn’t show up, go to Settings, then Restore. Card statements show THEVANGUARD.CO, the company behind the app. If a purchase isn’t what you hoped, email anthony@awkwardsilence.app and we’ll make it right. The terms have the details.

Your account

The website asks you to sign up, and the iPhone and Android apps keep signing in optional. Either way it’s a code sent to your email, with no password. To turn emails about events, news, and new packs on or off, go to Settings, then Email Me. To delete your account and everything synced to it, go to Settings, then Delete Account. To clear this device too, use Erase Everything.

Privacy

The app never listens to your conversations and has no ads or tracking. The details are in the privacy policy.
